Summary of Inspection
At today’s inspection there were 3 children and 2 staff present (licensee contact was working as part of ratio).
Licensing reviewed the facility’s COVID-19 prevention strategies and noted the following:
- Health and safety system in place in response to Pandemic
- Changes in practice to reflect Provincial Health Officer guidelines
- Extended daily outdoor play, assisting in promoting social distancing
At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed and a copy was provided by email.
The following education/recommendations were provided through discussion:
- Review of Health and Illness policy to reflect current practices in response to Covid-19
Facility has been receiving Licensing Officer’s emails.
