Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # AJON-CKJRDE of Oct-25-2022 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Inside of chest freezer maintained in an unsanitary condition and there is hair strands frozen in the freezer. Correction: Clean inside of the chest freezer. Ensure to clean inside the freezer on a regular basis. Code 302 noted on Routine inspection # AJON-CKJRDE of Oct-25-2022 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation: No sanitizer readily available onsite. Correction: Prepare a 100-200 ppm chlorine (bleach) sanitizer solution using half teaspoon bleach per litre of water. Ensure sanitizer is available at all times of operation to sanitize food contact surfaces.

Follow-up Inspection: - Cleaning of chest freezer has improved. Freezer will most likely remain off until the Spring. - Concentration of chlorine (bleach) sanitizer in spray bottle = 200 ppm. Note: facility will be closed after October 31, 2022 until December 2022. Operator signature not required due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
