Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Four to-go cups of soy milk were held out at room temperature near the hot-holding units. Internal temperature of soy milk measured 48C.
Spring rolls were stored in the sample display case at room temperature.
Corrective Action(s): Staff discarded the four cups of soy milk at time of inspection. As previously discussed, all hot-held food items MUST be held at 60C or hotter. If any holding at room temperature is done, appropriate time-tracking must be available.

Comments

- Follow-up inspection.
- Both paper towel dispensers in the kitchen were working properly.
- All other hot-held items were held at 60C or hotter. **Reminder that only sample, not-for-sale items are to be stored in the sample display case. Spring rolls must not be stored in this display case unless they are individually wrapped and labelled with "sample".
- Temperature logs for reheating and hot-holding were being properly used.
- Accurate thermometer(s) available for monitoring.
- Staff stated that more staff will be completing FoodSafe Level 1 in the near future. The store manager also has her FoodSafe Level 1 certificate.
