Introduction

A scheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). Evidence for this report was based on the Licensing Officers observations, review of the facility records and information provided by the facility staff at the time of inspection. Contraventions from the previous inspection were the focus of this inspection.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

There is a carpet that has a bump in it that if it gets worse will cause a tripping hazard. The flooring is stained and the manager is looking into correcting this. The manager of this facility was pro active in correcting all contraventions to the routine inspection. There is evidence of on-going monitoring to ensure compliance to the legislation.
