Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

· Licensing went on-site and attempted to complete a routine inspection on Oct. 5th & Oct. 10th, 2023. However, there was no response at the door during these times. The manager said that the facility was close on Oct. 5th, 2023. At the inspection dated Oct. 13, 2023 there were 7 children and 1 staff present.The manager was also on-site and assisted during the whole inspection. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified. This report was reviewed with the facility manager during the inspection. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The following recommendations/discussions were provided: - Screen time policy procedures - Attendance sheet procedures The following resource was provided: - Business card A copy of this report was sent to the facility.
