Comments

Follow up inspection:
***Hand washing sink - use the sink in the treatment room to hand wash before client and to clean implements after each client.
- Provide hand soap for use with warm water for proper hand washing (hand sanitizer is not as effective with water).
- Sharps container provided. Use this to dispose of pedicure blades. Blade handle is disinfected with high level disinfectant.
- Metal foot file - ensure it is fully immersed in high level disinfectant as previously discussed.
- Do not use implements that cannot be properly disinfected (cuticle implement with red plastic handle).
- Your high level disinfectant is cloudy and must be changed frequently (every 14 days or less). Follow directions on label.
- Wide absorbent file and regular absorbent nail file - on tray - discard these if they have been used or send home with client. These items are "single use only" and cannot be properly cleaned and disinfected.
- New brochures do not advertise ear candling (service not permitted).
