Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on January 22, 2020, regarding staffing, care & supervision, and policies & procedures. The complainant provided the following details:
-care plan was not revised as required
-insufficient number of staff to meet the needs of the PIC
-staff did not communicate with PIC’s representative
All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was collected from interviews and records. Licensing determined the following contraventions:
-Residential Care Regulation (RCR) s. 85(1)(d) Implementation of policies and procedures
-RCR s. 81(4)(a) Implementation of care plans
