Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Greater than 200 ppm chlorine sanitizer was measured in the spray bottle as the test strips were bleaching out.
Corrective Action(s): Operator setup 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer (1/2 teaspoon bleach per L of water) in the labelled spray bottle during the inspection.

Observation: Operator's FOODSAFE level 1 course training has expired (expiration date: July 29, 2018).

Comments

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Upright cooler and under-the-counter bar cooler were at or below 4 degrees C.
Double-door freezer was at or below -18 degrees C (measured at -21 degrees C).
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
Domestic cooler and freezer component are for staff use only.
Second freezer in the dry storage room was unplugged and empty of cold potentially hazardous food. Only dry goods were stored in this freezer.
Probe thermometer was available.
Both 2-compartment sinks were supplied with hot and cold running water. Sink plugs were available.
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was 71 degrees C or hotter (measured at 80.3 degrees C) at the plate level.
Ventilation hood was clean.
Food storage areas were clean and organized.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
