Follow-up inspection conducted, the following observations made:
- General sanitation level has improved. All floors, walls + ceiling tiles have been cleaned. All equipment, surfaces + exterior food containers are clean.
- Pest control company treated for cockroaches, and a bi-weekly contract for monitoring obtained. Reviewed reports and contract.
- All openings and holes have been blocked.
- There is no leaking pipes. A professional plumber replaced the pipe, but it is resting on the floor.
Action: Have the plumber return as the pipe shall not rest on the floor, as the floor requires to be cleaned daily.
Action: Block openings around the drain pipe, water lines and corner in wall --> in the dim sum making room.
Action: Ensure there is minimal to no items being stored on the floor to encourage easy cleaning. All items shall be stored 6" off the floor. Install more shelves or racks for storage.
- Maintain the sanitation level daily.
- The fish tanks have been cleaned and no cockroaches found.
- Closure order rescinded. Premise can reopen and operate.
