Routine inspection:
-Handsink was adequately supplied. Note: Hand sanitizer was also available at the handsink in addition to detergent. It was reviewed that hand sanitizer is not a suitable substitute for handwashing in the kitchen.
-Dishwasher final rinse chlorine sanitizer residual was at least 50 ppm at the plate.
-2-compartment sink and prep. sink was also operational.
-Chlorine test strips were available on-site.
-200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available inside three spray bottles.
-No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
-Walk-in-cooler was at 3 degrees C (4 degrees C or less).
-Upright freezer was at -21 degrees C (-18 degrees C or less).
-Cooler and freezer were equipped with thermometers.
-Food storage areas, service utensil/equipment storage areas, and floor were in a clean condition.
-Person in charge has completed a FOODSAFE Level 1 course (certificate valid until September 22, 2023).
-It was mentioned that a total of 20 staff members and volunteers participated in a FOODSAFE Level 1 group course last year on September 22, 2018.
