Temperature was noted at 5.9C towards the front end of the cooler. The reach in cooler was serviced by a technician. The technician has placed a temperature recording device to monitor the temperature. The operator informed the inspector that the technician will be back for additional services. Corrective Action(s): The cooler is to be serviced to maintain 4C or less throughout the cooler, or the cooler is to be replaced. Correct this by: April 20, 2021. Violation Score: 3

The reach in cooler is serviced; however, temperature is still not at 4C or less. Foods were stored towards the back where the temperature was noted at 4C or less. The operator is considering replacing the reach in cooler. A technician visited 3 times since the last inspection - and is scheduled to come back. As per agreed plan, keep your Environmental Health Officer updated with the reach in cooler situation.
