Observation: Cold water tap for the hand sink in the kitchen was not working and no cold water was available. Staff members have been using the 2-compartment sink located directly in-front of the hand washing station as a hand washing facility. Have the plumbing rectify immediately.

Observation: Newspaper was used to wrapped washed vegetables. Newspaper is not a food grade material and cannot be used on food products. Some of the vegetables wrapped with newspaper was starting to deteriorate in quality and were discarded.
Raw meat products were stored directly above whole tomatoes. Do no store raw meat above any produce or ready to eat food products.

Observation: Cockroaches activity noted in the dry storage area. Last pest report was dated July 22, 2017. More frequently service by a reputable pest control company is required. Weekly inspections should be conducted by pest control company and appropriate actions should be taken to prevent entry and eliminate the pest problem. The pest report need to indicate the level of cockroach activity and the corrective actions taken. Reports are to kept on file and send to the health department.

Routine inspection conducted and the following were noted.
Cooler units at 4C.
Food products held within the steam table was at least 60C internally.
Chlorine dishwasher at 100ppm. Ensure chlorine test stripe is available to monitor concentration daily.
Food items stored at least 6 inches off the ground and pest proof containers.
No rodent activity was noted.
