Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Immersion blender being stored in a container with water after each use, water temperature was above 4C and had visible food debris in it. Staff stated this was changed appox twice in a shift.
Corrective Action(s): The water that the blender is stored in must be changed at least every two hours or be kept <=4C. Recommend keeping this stocked with ice and have staff change it when the ice has melted (good visual indicator). Water was changed during inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff stated that the orange cleaner was used on the counter tops (which is considered a food contact surface). Label clearly states that this product should not be used on food contact surfaces.
Corrective Action(s): Wash all areas where this product may have been used and use only products (such as diluted bleach or the pink sanitizer at the recommended concentration on the bottle).

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Quats sanitizer dispenser only dispensing 50ppm of sanitizer. *This is a repeat infraction*
Note: Bleach solution used to sanitize cloths, quats (pink solution) used to clean tables, etc according to staff
Corrective Action(s): Have dispensing unit adjusted/repaired or manually dispense sanitizer to ensure a 200ppm solution or use the bleach solution for all sanitizing of food contact surfaces.

Note: Observed filled wraps thawing at room temperature. Staff showed a sign on the side of the cooler with the Waves logo with thawing time guidelines at room temperature (1h maximum for wraps and sandwiches. This appears to be a part of the corporate Food Safety Plan.
