Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance with the exception of records and reporting.

No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated July 10, 2020 there were no children and one staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine inspection a facility risk assessment tool is completed and a copy is provided. A copy of this inspection report and the facility risk assessment tool was sent to the manager by email on July 10, 2020.
The facility has been undergoing restoration work after being flooded and has been temporarily closed. The facility will reopen on July 20, 2020.
Painting supplies are in one of the facility rooms and will be removed before children attend the program.
The manager was provided with a copy of the Resource Package for Childcare: Covid 19 Prevention.
Protocols to be followed during the Covid 19 Pandemic were discussed with the manager.
