304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: - Minimal amount of mouse droppings were noted on the floor in the electrical room (under electrical panel). Appeared to be limited to this area. This was also noted by pest control technician in service report. Corrective Action(s): - Clean up droppings and disinfect affected area with a bleach solution. Monitor for any further activity in this area and ensure any additional droppings are cleaned up promptly. - Food retail and storage areas maintained in sanitary condition - Minimal amount of packaged potentially hazardous foods (dairy products) sold - Retail coolers (front) 4C, 3C - Sliding door cooler (back, for overstock) 4C - Thermometers present in all coolers. Temperatures checked daily. - FIFO system used when stocking products - Foods stored on shelving off of the floor. Exception: Items which were received today - ensure food products are put away on shelving. - Staff washrooms were supplied with liquid soap and paper towel - Pest control contract in place with monthly service.
