Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 thermos total of milk and cream measured 23C internally. These are cold potentially hazardous foods and time was not monitored for these 2 thermos. Pathogens will grow when cold potentially hazardous foods are stored above 4C.
Corrective Action(s): Discard and reclean and sanitize thermos jars prior to refilling with product. Store thermos in coolers when not in use as product must still maintain 4C or less. Date to be corrected: immediately
Violation Score: 5

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back handwashing sink was blocked with a chair. This is a repeated violation and may result in enforcement action such as ticketing and/or orders if there is further non-compliance.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure handwash sinks are fully equipped and accessible at all time. This is important to promote proper handwashing practices in the back food preparation area. Handwashing stations far away will deter employees from washing their hands properly and at the correct frequency. Date to be corrected: immediately
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: Back handwashing sink blocked with a chair, scrapers, and not equipped with paper towel or handsoap. Drain pipe is leaking water underneath.
Corrective Action(s): Fix and fully equip backroom handwash sink. Plans were approved to have this in place as this will facilitate proper handwashing for all staff that prepare food in the backroom. Manager on site said the sink will be fixed and stocked today. Date to be corrected: immediately
Violation Score: 1

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
