Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Creamer stored inside the walk-in cooler had a expiration date of August 20, 2019.
Corrective Action(s): Operator discarded the creamer. Any expired food item must be discarded immediately.

205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 shelled eggs and a bowel of cooked rice were observed stored at room temperature. The internal food product temperature measured at 24C. Operator stated eggs were stored at room temperature for half a day and rice was going to be discarded.
Corrective Action(s): Operator discarded the aforementioned shelled eggs and cooked rice. Do not store any potentially hazardous food at room temperature for more than 2 hours.

301 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Mildew growth observed on the water tray inside the ice machine.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the inside of the ice machine. Discard the first batch of ice and the first batch after sanitizing. Follow your sanitation plan for regular cleaning schedule. Correct by: Immediately.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: 1. Hand washing station in the kitchen was obstructed by the chest cooler and not easily accessible. 2. Wall-mounted paper towel dispenser not dispensing paper at the 3 compartment sink.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Relocate the chest freezer to allow easy access to the hand washing station. Corrected during inspection.
2. Service / replace the wall-mounted paper towel dispenser. In the meantime, use the paper towels from the hand washing station.

Observation: The following observations were made:
1. Can food items were stored in the original can after opening.
2. Raw meat stored near raw vegetables inside the walk-in cooler.
3. Some food stored inside the walk-in cooler was not covered.
4. A garbage bag was hanging on the faucet at the 3 compartment sink with all the utensils under it.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Transfer the can food into a food grade container after opening the can to prevent leeching of metals.
2. Raw meat must be stored away from raw vegetables on the lowest shelf.
3. Cover all food stored inside the walk-in cooler with a food-grade protective barrier such as saran wrap. Correct by: immediately.
4. Obtain a garbage can and store it on the floor away from utensils and food. Correct by: today.

1. Shelving unit beside the 3 compartment sink.
2. On top of the dishwasher.

- Display cooler removed from the premise.
- Chest and stand-up freezers maintained at -18C or less.
- Other hand washing stations provided with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200 ppm quaternary ammonium sanitizer available in spray bottles.
- High temperature dishwasher registered 72C at the plate level.
- Dry food products stored off the ground.
- No pest activities observed at the time of the inspection.
