304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Observed 10+ insects (appeared to be ants) on the floor near the low-temperature dishwasher.
2) Noted 10+ mice dropping long the wall of the back storage area behind the chest freezers.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Staff started to clean and remove the cans of pop and beer that were placed directly under the dishwasher. The liquid from the cans could be a potential cause of the insects near the dishwasher. Staff began cleaning and sanitizing the dishwashing area
2) Staff moved the freezer units and cleaned and sanitized the above mentioned area during the inspection

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed empty pop and beer cans stored underneath the low temperature dishwasher. Liquid from the cans noted on the floor.
Corrective Action(s): The cans were removed from underneath the dishwasher and placed in a large garbage bag. The garbage bag was then stored in the appropriate garbage disposal area.

Observation: Noted some build up under the dishwashing line (three-compartment sink, two-compartment sink and low temperature dishwasher)
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the above mentioned areas are thoroughly cleaned. Focus on the hard-to-reach areas.
