Observation: Wooden shelving units are raw wood and not smooth and cleanable.
Corrective Action(s): Sand and paint these shelving units to provide smooth cleanable surfaces or change them.

502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No one with foodsafe training was available on-side at time of visit, contacted the manager and she came before end of visit.
Corrective Action(s): -Ensure to have enough FS trained staff so there is at least one on duty at all time.

Comments

- Hand sinks are equipped with running water, liquid soap, and paper towels
- All refrigerators are at or below 4C
- All freezer units are below -18C- one freezer in storage room and one cooler in kitchen is broken and not being used ( remove the freezer if not to be repaired)
- All hot holding units are at or above 60C
- Quats sanitizer in buckets with cloth recorded at 200ppm.
- General sanitation of premises is good
-Log sheet is available and up todate

** a couple rodent dropping noted in storage room- clean and set up some monitoring device ( ie: sticky traps) to monitor
