A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -14C or colder; and thermometers present.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- All foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves or racks, and non-foods stored separately or below foods.
- No expired foods for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good.
- Slushie machine is broken and not in use. Wash the machine with hot water and soap to remove sugary debris to prevent attraction of pests (flies & ants), and to prevent mold growth. Sanitize with hot water and bleach after washing.
- The tongs and bowls used in the bulk candy section shall be washed and sanitized at the end of each day.
- Bleach present for sanitizing, but no solution mixed up at time of inspection.
- No signs of pests.
