Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At today’s inspection there were 8 children and 1 staff and 1 practicum student present. Licensing conducted a walk through of the entire facility.
At this inspection no contraventions were identified but education was provided. The Licensee will take action to bring the facility into compliance.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed.
The Licensing Officer met with the educator and discussed the following:
Validation of certificates
Manager name posted in facility
Start date for children in the facility
Emergency cards

The contents of the inspection report were reviewed with the educator prior to the inspection report being written.A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager/licensee on November 11, 2022.
