Comments

Follow-up Inspection Conducted
- Refer to Routine Inspection Report #SDHI-CW4U5V and the later follow-up inspection reports for outstanding violations

Observations:
- Minor improvement noted in the store in regards to rodent activity. Some recent activity still noted (See violation)
- All recent pest reports since the last inspection(s) have been emailed to the health inspector for review. Reports indicate no recent rodent catching.
- Majority of current traps are placed only in the first few aisles. No rodent activity is noted in these aisles.
- All food is observed stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
- All bottom shelves are observed not in use for storage of any items including food, and other non-food items. Storage is to remain this way until rodent activity has improved significantly.
- Large wooden pallets are stacked up to three high before dry food items are stored on them.
**Recommended discontinued use of these pallets to store food on the sales floor as activity is noted on these pallets during most inspections.

As discussed with staff, more traps must be placed in ALL food aisles to prevent any future activity. Deep cleaning must be completed frequently to remove any food spills or pest droppings. Failure to take IMMEDIATE action and submit photos to the health inspector by Nov 10, 2023, may lead to Progressive Enforcement (issuance of CORRECTION/CLOSURE ORDER).

Notes:
- Continue to submit pest reports to the health inspector for review, including but not limited to, any treatment applied and any traps which are placed on site (inside or outside).
- Inspection report will be emailed to the operator

Please contact the health inspector for any questions or concerns.
