Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Meat slicer was found to have food debris on the slicer arm. Staff stated she used it this morning to cut meat.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure slicer is cleaned and sanitized after each use to prevent potential contamination of foods. Slicer was washed and sanitized at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Tongs were found stored in the pickled carrots (handle was in contact with the food).

Comments

-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Front display cooler was at 3C.
-Under counter bar cooler was at 4C.
-Front display cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezer was at -18C.
-Cooked food items were properly cooled and were at 4C at the time of inspection.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plug available.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer bowl was at 200ppm.
-Manual dicer was found to be clean and sanitary.
-Foods stored off the ground and covered. Did not observe foods stored in opened metal cans at the time of inspection.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility serviced by professional pest control operator.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until November 20, 2027.
