Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 handwash sink on site did not have supply of hot water. Operator stated that the cleaning company may have turned off the supply at night. Hot water supply was made available during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that adequate handwashing station with supply of both hot and cold water, liquid soap and single use paper towels available at all times.

Observation: Fruit flies were observed in one specific area. Uncovered garbage bin may have resulted in fly issues in this area.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Blade of pizza cutter/slicer had multiple chips. Uneven surface of blade may not be adequately cleaned and sanitized. Broken metal pieces can also fall into food which may cause potential food contamination. Operator discarded the pizza cutter at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that all food contact surfaces are maintained in good working order.

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- Temperature of prep coolers, walk in cooler & stand up coolers recorded at or below 4C
- Freezers noted at or below -18C
- 200ppm QUATS solution recorded in sanitizer pail and dispensing unit.
- 3 compartment dishwashing sink used for manual dishwashing. Drain plugs available.
- Dry storage area (downstairs) and kitchen upstairs maintained in good sanitary condition.
- Food was stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Staff has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate (Exp Aug 20, 2024)
- Permit posted at the front.
- Pest Control Company conducts routine checks.
