Summary of Inspection

The COVID-19 Pre-screening was done prior to inspection.
During today’s inspection, Licensing and Licensee were present on site.

At this inspection the following items were discussed and reviewed:
Systems for Care and Supervision:
-The nap room should be clear of any hazards and a system for supervision in place for when some children are napping, and other children are in a space out of the nap room. Please submit an updated nap-time supervision plan if the plan differs from the one previously approved by licensing.
-Licensee would like to change some systems for offering meals and snacks. It was discussed that the whole home is included in Family Child Care, however, Licensee can submit a plan for providing snack which meets the legislative requirements for licensing to review. Please submit an new plan for snack and food service, if the plan differs from the one previously approved by licensing.
-Screen use was reviewed and the facility 'screen use policy' was discussed and reviewed. Please submit a new 'screen use policy' which meets the Director of Licensing Standard of Practice, if it differs from previously approved policies.

-Outstanding contraventions were discussed for the outdoor fence, and enclosures. The Licensee has developed a plan to have these items addressed with enhanced supervision outdoors until these items are sufficiently fixed this weekend.

Licensing will return to review the fence repairs next week.
