Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated September 24, 2019 there were 3 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
During inspection Licensing observed:
- children engaged in free play with music and movement, have a snack time, take part in circle time and then return to free play creating with magnet tiles.
- staff interacted with children while they were engaged in free play, conducted a bilingual circle time and gave warnings to children at times of transition.

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
