Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Mechanical glasswasher/dishwasher not dispensing minimum level of chlorine sanitizer, even after priming the tubes.
Corrective Action(s): Spoke to the owner on phone and confirmed the following:
- Facility mostly serves drinks (95% of the total sales).
- Facility will not serve any cooked food until approved by the health inspector. Until then, only drinks will be served. If to serve nonperishable snacks (i.e. chips) use single use plates/bowls, as agreed at this time. All glasses to be run through the glasswasher, soaked in 200ppm chlorine solution for 30 sec, and left to be air dried.
- Operator to contact the health inspector to notify once the repair work is complete.

Observation: Cockroaches were observed on sticky trap in staff washroom (8-10) and inside the glasswasher (5-7). Professional pest control company contracted. Recent inspection done 2-3 weeks ago as per staff. Food stored in pest proof containers.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to keep copies of pest control report on site.

Observation: Mechanical glasswasher/dishwasher not dispensing minimum level of sanitizer. Dishwasher is leaking at the bottom.
Corrective Action(s): Contact the technician for a repair and notify the health inspector once complete.

Routine inspection conducted:

- Handwashing stations adequately supplied with liquid soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water.
- Coolers operating at/below 4'C; Freezers operating at -18'C.
- 200ppm chlorine solution available in labelled spray bottles.
NOTE: Ensure to add 1/2 tsp of bleach per 1L of water to prepare correct concentration at all times.
- Pop gun/holder in sanitary condition.
- Washroom handsinks satisfactory.
