Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-B82VKK.
Food items stored in the walk in cooler (including mushrooms) were observed to be in good condition.
Hand washing stations were observed to be unobstructed and properly supplied. No water was observed to be leaking around the faucet of the bar hand washing station.
Squeeze bottle of oil and fresh chopped garlic was observed to be stored in the lower compartment of the central preparation cooler (Ambient temperature: 5 degrees C at time of inspection; internal temperature of probed food: 3 to 4 degrees C). Note: The following documents on garlic and oil food safety were provided: (1) Government of Canada: Food safety tips for vegetables and herbs in oil. (2) HealthLinkBC: Botulism.
Note: New hot holding and cooking equipment added since previous inspection. Internal temperature of hot held food items at 60 degrees C or more.
