Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Scoops were stored inside chick pea flour containers with the handle in contact with the flour.
2) A bag of onions was stored on the floor
Corrective Action(s): 1) Ensure scoops are stored in a sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of ingredients. Scoops were removed at the time of inspection.
2) Ensure foods are stored off the floor to prevent potential contamination of foods. Onions were relocated at the time of inspection.

Observation: Prep cooler fan was found to have food debris and prep table by the back entrance was found to have some food debris.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition to prevent contamination of foods and potential attraction of pests.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -21C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Front sweets display cooler was initially at 6C. Fan was adjusted and cooler unit was at 4C.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 50ppm chlorine on the dish surface (minimum 50ppm required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash station easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer spray bottles labelled and tested at 100ppm.
-Sauces were probed at 4C in the walk-in cooler. Sauces are cooled using a cooling wand.
-Sweets on top of the front display cooler (customer area) covered with plastic wrap to prevent potential customer contamination.
-Raw meats stored below and separately from ready-to-eat foods in the walk-in cooler.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary at the time of inspection.
-Operator FoodSafe Level 1 valid until December 4, 2020.
