Observation: **Repeat** Walk-in cooler door hinges are damaged and non-functional. Door found to be leaning against opening to walk-in at time of inspection. Technician has been contacted. however hinge is currently unavailable.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Ensure door is properly closed at all times. Keep calibrated thermometer in walk-in cooler, and develop and maintain temperature log. Record temperature every 2 hours.
2. Door must be repaired as it is a potential worksafe hazard (door falling on staff, trapping staff in walk-in ).

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Chemical dishwasher is in the process of being replaced by a high temperature dishwasher. This is no acceptable means of properly cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
Correction: Facility must install high temperature dishwasher properly and must be able to achieve a minimum sanitizing temperature of 71C on the dish surface on the final rinse. Public Health Act Closure Order has been issued to the facility.

Observation: Handwash station by garage entrance not used. Staff uses washroom for handwashing.
Correction: Washroom hand sink is not to be used as handwashing sink as sink is unavailable when staff uses washroom. Equip handwashing station with paper towels and liquid soap.
