Corrective Action(s): Discard all single use items after they have been used. NOTE: If files for personal use do not store at work station. Correct Immediately. Violation Score: 9 347 - Storage of equipment / instruments / products not required for business use Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): In was room, observed tools/equipment for lash extensions and facials operator stated facial and lash services are no longer offered. Routine Inspection: General Comments. Facility currently approved for nail and esthetic (was) services. Please contact Fraser Health if additional services are to be offered (ie. hair services, lash extensions) prior to service being offered. Nails: -CS20 available for disinfection. Tools observed to be fully submerged after use. -Foot baths lined with single use plastic. -Container with tools for clients clearly labelled with info. -Sinks equipped with hot/cold water, liquid soap, paper towel. -Credo blades single use. Sharps container available. Wax Room - Hand sink equipped with hot/cold water, paper towel, liquid soap. -Single use wooden sticks available. -Treatment bed lined with paper, discard after use. NOTE: Treatment room equipped with 2 hair wash stations/beds. Staff informed currently used as staff room. No hair services offered. -Laundry done on site. * Remember use hottest setting when washing salon cloth's. Foot baths cleaned with BIO Tab. Operator asked to use bleach solution in meantime.
