Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Only one sanitizer spay bottle was available for the kitchen. Staff were unable to locate the second spray bottle.
Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer must be readily available for staff to use in order to properly sanitize food contact surfaces. Staff member located the second spray bottle at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Spray bottle labelled bleach had Quats sanitizer.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure containers are properly labelled to identify their contents to prevent accidental mixing and/or misuse of chemicals. Staff filled spray bottle with bleach at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to April 28, 2023.
-Handwash stations were accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Handwash stations were not being used for food preparation at the time of inspection.
-Did not observe frozen foods thawing at room temperature at the time of inspection.
-Did not observe foods double stacked directly on top of one another at the time of inspection. Foods were covered in plastic wrap.
-Prep cooler door seals have been replaced and were in good condition. Ensure door seals are maintained in good condition and are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
*Facility has a Quats sanitizer dispenser and also uses bleach sanitizer. Recommend facility use either Quats or bleach sanitizer - not both. Accidental mixing of bleach and Quats may result in toxic gas production.
