Comments

Follow-up inspection conducted. Rodent droppings have been removed with a strong bleach solution in the general storage area (including inside the cabinets) and inside the janitorial area next to the mop sink. Janitorial area and storage area is now in excellent sanitary condition - thank you for your co-operation.

NOTE ON KIMCHI PRODUCTION:
It was confirmed that there was no food safety plan in place for the preparation of kimchi. Kimchi cooler has been removed from the premise and the establishment is ordering kimchi off-site from an approved source. Invoices are to be emailed to the Environmental Health Officer.

Discussed requirements for creating a food safety plan for kimchi production (fresh kimchi / fermented kimchi) at time of inspection. When the food safety plan is complete, please forward to the Environmental Health Officer for review. Once reviewed and accepted, only then will the production of kimchi be allowed.
