Comments

-Inspection conducted with training Environmental Health Officer.
-Donair prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Front service area prep cooler was adjusted to 3C at the time of inspection.
-Upright cooler in kitchen was at 4C.
-Chest freezers were at -11C and -20C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C.
-Donair meat is shaved off the cone, and undergoes a secondary cook step in the microwave. Chicken was probed at greater than 74C and beef was probed greater than 71C.
-Hot holding of rice and donair meat was greater than 60C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3-compartment sink. Sink stoppers built into cooler unit. Bleach present on-site and mixing instructions written on wall by 3-compartment sink.
-Handwash stations easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Operator observed practicing proper handwashing practices.
-Bleach sanitizer spray bottles properly labelled and tested at 200ppm (spray bottles present in both food preparation areas).
-Equipment and utensils were found to be clean and well maintained.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Raw meats stored below ready-to-eat foods.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary.
-FoodSafe Level 1 valid until March 2019.
