A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -22C or colder; hot holding units 60C or hotter; thermometers present; and temps recorded daily.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Quats sanitizer in spray bottles, cloth buckets, and in 3-comp warewashing sink had strength of 200ppm.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labelled; date coded; foods stored in groups with raw proteins separate from RTE foods; and foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves and pallets.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level has improved and is good. Limited amount of grease found on floor beneath the cook station. Mould has been cleaned off the walls, floors, and pipes behind the ice machine and remains mould-free.
- Exhaust canopy and filters are clean, and was professionally cleaned in June 2023. Next service due in January 2024.
- No signs of pests.
- Broken floor tiles in the cook station and drive-thru areas have been replaced and sealed. There no longer is ice built up around the door frame of the walk-in-freezer.
- Valid, FoodSafe cerified staff present and/or equivalence recognized course.
