306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Several areas in the display cases were noted to have mold growth on/under the shelving: Armstrong cheese storage area; sour cream storage area (remove the moldy cardboard); Silk brand soy milk storage area (across from the BBQ display); shelf used for storing yogurt inside the Dairy walk-in cooler; floor under the shelves in the ECOMM storage cooler. Corrective Action(s): Clean all the above mentioned areas thoroughly. Violation Score: 3 307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19] Observation: Four scoops were noted to be visibly cracked and breaking apart in the bulk section. Corrective Action(s): All 4 scoops were discarded. Replace with new scoops. Ensure that staff are regularly checking for visible cracks and breakage on scoops and tongs. Violation Score: 3 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)] Observation: Handsink in the produce dressing/trimming area is leaking underneath. Corrective Action(s): Get the leak fixed. Violation Score: 3
