Comments

Summary of Inspection:
The COVID-19 Pre-screening was conducted at the door.
During today’s inspection, the facility manger was present, and 3 children were in attendance.
At this inspection the above noted contraventions were identified. Licensee is required to submit a corrective action plan to address the contraventions.

The following was discussed:
During inspection, the outside play space had some items accessible to children including; a long metal piece with a sharp edge on it, a plastic knife, and a yogurt container in the play yard. The facility manager stated they have not been outside yet, however, their system is to bring a garbage bag outside, and collect all debris before children play. Licensing reviewed the "Director of Licensing Standard of Practice, Safe Play Space" with the Licensee, and discussed the requirement for a daily, monthly, and annual outdoor logs, to ensure there are systems-in-place to maintain the yard is free from hazard.
