Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff washroom did not have any single use paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): Washroom handwash station must have hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Staff member purchased single use paper towels at the time of inspection.

Observation: Chest freezer was found to have spilled food and wall by the mixer had whipped cream build up.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure facility and equipment are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Freezer may need to be defrosted before frozen foods can be removed from the freezer unit.

Observation: Upright cooler is leaking water. Cooler unit is still able to maintain 4C.

Comments

-Facility is currently only baking muffins on-site (until next month). Cakes are made and decorated at another location and transported to this location. Patties are either sold cold or are reheated in the oven to order.
-Both display coolers were at 4C.
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezer was at -35C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3-compartment sink. Sink was prepared with 200ppm bleach at the time of inspection.
-Handwash station in front area supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-No bleach sanitizer prepared in spray bottle - facility is currently not preparing any food at this location for the next month.
-Food items properly stored off the floor and covered.
-Food items for sale in the front area labelled with the supplier's contact information.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Staff FoodSafe Level 1 valid until Sept 11, 2023.
