Observation: A stand mixer was observed on the floor in the room with the 2-compartment sink and mop sink. Person in charge stated that the stand mixer is not being used for this business and will be returned to another store in White Rock.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the stand mixer from this location as it is an item not required for business use at the Esso food store; Correct within 1 month (by November 15, 2019).

Comments

Routine inspection for food store:
-Walk-in-cooler and reach in display cooler were at or below 4 degrees C. Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
-Upright freezer and both ice cream freezer temperatures were satisfactory.
-Mop sink was available.
-2-compartment sink was operational.
-Handsinks in both washrooms were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
-No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
