HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 5
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer spray bottles did not contain a detectable amount of chlorine (0ppm) at time of inspection. Spray bottles appear to be filled with soap, rather than a sanitizing chemical (visible suds in the solution)
Corrective Action(s): Demonstrated correct method of preparing a sanitizer solution using chlorine bleach at time of inspection. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of bleach per Litre of water to obtain a 100-200ppm concentration solution.
*Ensure to use unscented regular bleach when preparing sanitizer solutions* Scented bleach contains additional ingredients that must be rinsed off of food-contact surfaces after application. Unscented bleach sanitizer solutions, when prepared at the correct concentration, are considered food-grade, and may be used without requiring a rinse step.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: There are no non-critical hazards.
