Follow up inspection:
Upright cooler was at 2.6 degrees C on the left hand side and 3.9 degrees C on the right hand side (4 degrees C or less).
Upright cooler was equipped with a thermometer inside it and had a built in thermometer as well.
Hot-held food was 60 degrees C or hotter in the hot-holding units.

Note: Food was wrapped with a plastic film in one of the hot-holding units. A box of the film was available on-site however staff mentioned that the information on it was in Japanese; Information in English was not available and staff could not read Japanese on-site.
Staff contacted the Head Office of T&T and the Head Office is to provide written details on the wrapping material. The wrapping material used on hot-held items must be able to withstand high temperatures and not leach/melt into the food so that food is protected from contamination. In accordance with the Food Premises Regulation under the Public Health Act, Owner/Operators of food service establishments are mandated to protect food from contamination. Provide an update to the district Environmental Health Officer regarding the safety of the wrapping material used for hot-held items based on the manufacturer's specifications by December 1, 2017 (business card was provided).
