Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer not being used in bar area and in pizza prep area. Cleaner is being used insead. This has been addressed in previous inspection reports. The use of just a cleaner does not ensure that the food contact surfaces are sufficiently sanitized i.e. that bactrial contamination has been removed.
Corrective Action(s): Appropriate sanitizer must be used effective immediately. The sanitizer that is in use in the kitchen can be used for the bar and pizza prep areas.

Comments

- Temperature of coolers and freezers are adequate.
- Liquid soap and paper towels are available at the hand wash sinks.
- Main dishwasher was 71 degrees at the plate. Glass washer was at 71 degrees after 4 cycles. Please ensure this machine is run at least 4 times before it is used.
- No signs of pest infestation

** Some attention to deep cleaning, i.e. hard-to-reach areas required.
** Hand washing for staff in pizza prep area must be made easier. Please propose a solution (send via email to tara.abraham@fraserhealth.ca) as discussed during inspection.
