Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act, Child Care Licensing Regulationand the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice. All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

As the inspection dated, January 17, 2019 there were 2 children in care and 1 staff present. At this inspection no violations were identified and no action is required.

As part of this routine inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

Education and recommendations:
continuous active supervision
notification of reportable incidents
lead in the drinking water
mandatory inspections to assess applications for temporary placements/retention and exemptions
promotion of active play.
