Comments

Routine inspection conducted. The following observations were made:

1. Temperatures (Max: 4C for coolers, -18C for freezers)
- Domestic refrigerator at 4C, domestic freezer at -18C
- 2-compartment sink present for manual warewashing
- Reminder to read the thermometer for accurately checking the temperature in the domestic fridge

2. Hygiene and Sanitizing
- Bleach sanitizer spray bottle at 200 ppm chlorine residual
- Domestic dishwasher available for use
- Utensils, cutting boards, kitchen equipment generally maintained in good sanitary condition
- Handwash station in kitchen stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels
- Washroom in sanitary condition, towels used for handwashing are laundered after each use

3. Storage
- All food items elevated 6" off floor
- Single-use disposable cutlery stored in secure plastic containers, labelled
- Ingredients are covered with tight-fitting lids
- Organization of cupboards and drawers have improved (e.g. dry storage goods have designated labelled areas for storage and are neatly stacked)

4. Administrative
- Operator has FoodSafe 1 (Expiry: July 29, 2018 - you must renew FoodSafe 1 on or before July 29, 2018). Go to www.foodsafe.ca and take the Level 1 Refresher Course available online
- Permit posted and up-to-date
- Operator maintains log of which children have allergies. No peanuts or tree nuts are served on premise
