Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Upon arrival of EHO facility lacked dishwasher capable of reaching 50ppm Chlorine on final rinse.
Facility lacks chlorine test strips for testing dishwasher
Facility is not capable of nor executing daily testing of dishwasher to ensure final sanitizing rinse is achieved.
CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - Sanitizer solution was changed during inspection and run until dishwasher achieved final sanitizing rinse of 50ppm Chlorine.

Corrective Action(s): Obtain chlorine test strips for dishwashing unit IMMEDIATELY
ensure staff are testing dishwasher daily.
Failure to have dishwasher capable of sanitizing dishes will result in further enforcement action including closure of facility until such time as dishwasher is capable of sanitizing dishes.

Walls and ceiling in various locations including in food production areas and inside walk-in coolers and freezer units has an accumulation of mould/mildew.

Corrective Action(s): Thoroughly clean walls and ceilings or any other area where mould has accumulated.
Current condition of facility requires additional cleaning. More thorough cleaning.

- No evidence of pests
- Pest control program in place
- Handsinks adequately supplied
- Coolers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to 4 degrees Celsius
- Freezers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to -18 degrees Celsius
- Sanitizer solution in use throughout food preparation areas and at concentrations of greater than or equal to 200ppm QUAT
- QUAT Test strips available for use
- Two functional sink plugs available for use observed
- Ice machine and scoops in good sanitary condition
- Hair restraints in use - hair nets at facility
- Back door closed during inspection and tight fitting
- Staff Personal items kept separate from kitchen equipment

NOTE: facility will be moving locations. Major renovations will not be required provided facility does move locations in near future. However general maintenace, including repairs to floors, cleaning of mouldy surfaces is required.
At any new facility additional hand sinks will be required as currently facility lacks hand sink inside food production facility. Consult with Fraser Health for further details regarding any renovations or new spaces to ensure design meets with Health requirements.
