Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach sanitizer was too strong - bleach out test strip.
Corrective Action(s): To properly sanitize food contact surfaces, prepare bleach at 100ppm to 200ppm. Excessive levels of bleach may be toxic. Bleach was diluted to 200ppm at the time of inspection. To prepare 200ppm bleach, add 5mL bleach per litre of water.

Observation: Produce was wrapped in newspaper.
Corrective Action(s): Do not use newspapers to wrap produce. Newspaper is not a food grade material. If produce needs to be wrapped, use paper towels.

Observation: Chemical spray bottles were not properly labelled.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemicals/spray bottles are labelled to identify their contents. This is to prevent accidental mixing and or misuse of chemicals. Containers will need to be relabelled as needed.

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Pizza prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Front upright cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezer was at -20C.
-Upright freezer was at -16C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Sink plugs and bleach available.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Deli slicer was found to be clean and sanitary. Slicer is properly disassembled after each use.
-Foods properly stored off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and handwash stations equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until August 28, 2023.
-Please contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns.
