Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): At the front, beverage display cooler was not maintaining 4C or below. Display cooler unit is open to ambiance air. Fresh pressed bottled juice: internal temperature carrot/orange 8C; apple/pineapple 7C. Kombucha bottle drink internal temperature 8C.
Corrective Action(s): Staff removed and discarded all potentially hazardous foods.
Do not store PHFs in this cooler.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. At the back, delivery containers obstructed access to the handwash station.
2. At the side, staff placed food/equipment at the handwash station and partially obstructed access to the basin.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Operater stated that delivery containers will be removed immediately.
2. Staff removed the food/equipment, and made the handwash station easily accessible to be used for washing hands.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff was preparing food beside and partially on the handwash station counter. No direct food contamination was observed.
Corrective Action(s): Staff was instructed to discontinue food prep on this counter.
***Do no prepare/process food on/near sources of contamination. Food may be contaminated from splashing of dirty water from hand washing.

Observation: At the front, the display cooler is not fully enclosed and is exposed to ambiant air. A plastic curtain covers the display at the end of day.
Corrective Action(s): Install a door on the display cooler to ensure PHFs/beverages are maintained at 4C or below (1 month).
