At today’s inspection there were 9 children, 6 staff and the manager present.
At this inspection there were no observed contraventions.
As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed. The risk assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection, a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation. This is used to determine inspection frequency.
The contents of the inspection report were reviewed with the manager and written on-site. A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager and a paper copy mailed to the facility.
The following was discussed with the manager;
- Maintenance of outdoor play area (Ie: Bushes)
- Documentation of licence validation on spreadsheet
- Behavioral guidance suggestions
- Enhancement - staff policies if parent(s) are not accessible while children are in care - S.56(1)(d.1)(ii)
- Enhancement - general policies re: S.57 (2.2)(a)(b)(c)(d)
