Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated February 24, 2022 there were seven children and one staff present. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. There were no contraventions identified during this inspection.

The following resources were provided and discussed:
· Public Health Guidance for Child Care Settings- Updated February 7, 2022
· Sample Anaphylaxis Emergency plan (provided via email)
· Bulletin: Care plan- Care and Supervision (provided via email)
· Fact Sheet- Care plan (provided via email)

The inspection report was written off-site – details were reviewed with the Manager prior to writing the report. A copy of the routine inspection report and risk assessment sent to manager via email on February 25, 2022. Total time includes writing report in office.
