Observation: Front line cooler was at 6C. Operator stated a technician serviced the cooler unit - defrosted the cooler and added refrigeration gas. Operator stated technician tested cooler and it was at the correct temperature.
Corrective Action(s): Have technician service cooler unit again and ensure it is maintaining temperatures at or below 4C on a consistent basis.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection at Feb 27, 2018.
-Staff were preparing Quats sanitizing solution at the time of inspection. Staff observed properly testing sanitizing solution with Quats test strips. Quats sanitizing solution was tested at 200ppm at the time of inspection.
-Kitchen handwash station was not obstructed at the time of inspection.
-Washroom handwash stations were easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
